Quick Update

Boy, I have a lot of kind readers. There are tough times ahead, but The Situation is drawing to a conclusion. I’m writing the whole thing up, although I can’t promise it’ll be ready very soon.
In the meantime, to everyone who offered me prayers and compassion, thank you so much and may your cups run over!
And to everyone who offered me advice, I’ll try not to hold it against you.
So, real post on the way. Happy Mothers’ Day, especially to mine.

“To everyone who offered me advice, I’ll try not to hold it against you.” Boy do I know how THAT feels. I loved the last post — so, in retrospect, it might have made more sense to say so in the comments to that post, but oh well — for expressing that unique frustration with spiritual dryness that is so, so exasperated by well-meaning counsel.
And, uh, yeah, prayers and that. Yeah.

Not that I have become perfect yet: I have not yet won, but I am still running, trying to capture the prize for which Christ Jesus captured me. I can assure you my brothers, I am far from thinking that I have already won. All I can say is that I forget the past and I strain ahead for what is still to come; I am racing for the finish, for the prize to which God calls us upwards to receive in Christ Jesus.
